Manage engineering deliverables within budget and schedule
Perform engineering detailed design and develop solutions to resolve engineering related issues
Lead design review meetings and integration efforts
Produce engineering and production drawings that comply with contract specifications and class rules
Offer Technical Oversight by providing technical guidance, rules, regulatory updates, and training to team members.
Active involvement in Project Management activities by providing assistance in day-to-day operations and managing resources to optimize manpower utilization.
Manage vendor relationships and ensuring proper integration with other vessel systems.
Ensuring compliance with relevant class standards, codes, and safety regulations, aligned with client's specification requirement
Cross-Functional Collaboration with internal functional teams e.g. Commercial & Projects, clients, design houses and contractor to meet project objectives.
Requirements
Minimum Engineering Degree in related field
At least 10 years of shipbuilding experience in the engineering function
Posses at least 3 years of experience in multi-disciplinary engineering team management
