Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams and maintain technical standards, specifications, and project requirements
- Review engineering drawings, layout plans and technical details before site commencement
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams to resolve day-to-day issues
- Coordinate with system vendors, subcontractors, suppliers and clients on technical and interface matters
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to project and site teams during construction, installation, testing and commissioning
- Ensure works comply with contract requirements, approved plans and authority regulations
- Identify and resolve design clashes, constructability issues and site constraints
- Oversee QA/QC processes, audits and inspections
- Support planning and sequencing of works to meet project timelines
- Monitor workmanship quality and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
- Support value engineering and alternative technical proposals to optimise cost, quality and programme
- Prepare technical submissions, reports and as-built drawings
- Assist in inspections, testing and handover documentation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil, E&C, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 58 years experience in construction projects covering civil & ECE works.
Experience in design coordination, technical project management and site support.
Ability to resolve design clashes, constructability and integration issues.
Good coordination, communication and leadership skills.
Willing to work on-site and flexible with shift work including evenings, weekends or as project requires.
