We Are Looking For

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Director to be part of our fast-growing team in PDG Singapore. The successful candidate plays a crucial role in supporting the design and delivery of our data centers across APAC. This position requires close collaboration with the Managing Director and Head of Engineering, customers and the vendor ecosystems to continuously enhance data center designs while aligning with the company's design principle. This Engineering Director is instrumental in ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and maintaining market-leading quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Design Support: Assisting the Head of Engineering in the design and innovation of data centers, ensuring consistency with the company's design principles.
• Collaboration: Working closely with customers and vendors to address and solve engineering challenges, contributing to solutions engineering efforts.
• Project Management: Supporting the delivery of data center projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
• Innovation: Fostering innovation in the data center design and delivery, leveraging opportunities to enhance the company's platform across the region.
• Leadership and Culture: Demonstrating high personal integrity and professionalism, promoting an inclusive environment and contributing to a high-performance culture within the engineering team and acting as a role model and support the Head of Engineering in leading the team.

Requirements:

• Proven strong experience in data center design and delivery, ideally someone with seasoned leadership experience across engineering and operations in highly reputable data center companies.
• More than 15 years of experience with track record of delivery (design, engineering, project management) and operations of more than 100MW of data center capacity.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers and vendors.
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
• Innovative mindset with a strong drive to enhance engineering solutions.

Other Added Advantage

• Certified Data Centre Expert (CDCE), Accredited Tier Designer (ATD), Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP), or similar, are highly desirable.
