Job overview: The Engineering Assistant (RMA) is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This position supports the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process by evaluating returned products, performing basic fault isolation and testing, documenting findings, and coordinating repair activities with internal engineering and production teams.
Job Responsibilities :
- Diagnose returned products to identify root causes of component or system failures.
- Generate detailed technical reports detailing defect trends and failure mechanisms.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding defective components and warranty claims.
- Refine testing procedures and documentation to optimize the repair and return cycle.
Qualifications
- Entry level are welcomed to apply , OJT will be provided.
- Higher NITEC or NITEC in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer engineering or related field.
- Experience in product testing, quality assurance, or hardware failure analysis is an added advantage.
- Proficiency with basic diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters), schematics, and RMA tracking software (if any).
- Able to work in a cross functional team with great communication skill.
