Job Description

Commswave Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Engineering Assistant to support the assembly, integration, testing and troubleshooting of satellite communication (SATCOM) equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and test SATCOM, RF, electronic and mechanical equipment.
Support installation of antenna terminals, BUC, LNB, power supplies and cabling.
Perform wiring, crimping, soldering and basic electrical/electronic testing.
Assist engineers with troubleshooting, prototype builds and product improvements.
Prepare BOMs, test records and basic technical documentation.
Support inventory, incoming component checks and project activities.

Requirements

NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications or related engineering field.
Fresh graduates are welcome.
Hands-on technical and troubleshooting ability.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and test equipment.
SATCOM/RF experience is an advantage but not essential training will be provided.
Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently and as part of a team.
