1. Project Planning & Execution
Lead the planning, design review, and implementation of M&E works for construction projects.
Review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and constructability.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design or execution issues.
Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and budgets for M&E works.
2. Contractor & Subcontractor Management
Manage M&E contractors and subcontractors, including monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with contracts.
Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
Ensure proper quality control, defect management, and snagging processes.
3. Compliance & Standards
Ensure all M&E works comply with Singapore building codes, electrical & mechanical regulations, and safety standards.
Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, and shop drawings.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for M&E activities.
4. Testing & Commissioning
Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of all mechanical and electrical systems.
Ensure documentation, manuals, and as-built drawings are complete and accurate.
Coordinate with authorities and consultants for certification and inspection approvals.
5. Team Leadership & Reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop M&E engineers and site staff.
Provide regular project reports, progress updates, and forecasts to senior management.
Support budget forecasting, cost control, and resource planning for M&E works.
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in construction, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
Experience with commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects
Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and regulations (e.g., SS CP 13, CP 18, NEA, SCDF, BCA)
Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and project management tools
