What You'll Do:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure.
- Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Gas Transmission Pipeline and its associated facilities.
- Plan and implement patrolling programs for the Gas Transmission Pipeline.
- Control and monitor third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to prevent damages to the pipeline.
- Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of pipelines and facilities.
- Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices.
- Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures.
- Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies.
- Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness.
- Supervise all Technical Officers and Technicians of the section.
- Establish and review documentation and filing system.
- Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders.
- Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Gas Transmission Infrastructure.
- Conduct / participate in emergency exercises.
- Plan and provide budget for the Section.
- Monitor expenditures within approved budget.
- Perform Standby Duties after office hours.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from university recognized by PE Board Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous.
- Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team.
- Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous.
