Engineer, Software Development/Product Development

We are seeking a talented and motivated Engineer/Senior Engineer with strong communication skills to join our dynamic team, to drive cybersecurity product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic cybersecurity projects and product development teams, overseeing the full software development lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of innovative features that meet market and customer needs.

• Liaise with business units to translate strategic objectives into technical requirements, facilitating collaboration between engineering, product management, and business team.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders by presenting technical concepts in accessible terms, gathering feedback, and driving consensus on product roadmap.

• Drive cybersecurity innovation by staying updated on industry trends, identifying emerging technologies, and integrating them into product development.

• Develop innovative cybersecurity proposals and seek funding support.

• Guide junior engineers and contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in development processes.

• Manage project risks and timelines using agile methodologies to adapt to changing business priorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with at least 4 years of professional experience in product innovation, development, and/or management role.

• Proven experience in leading product development initiatives, such as managing end-to-end development of products from concept to launch, demonstrating ability to handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders

• Demonstrable expertise in one or more emerging cybersecurity areas

• Demonstrated expertise in liaising with business and marketing teams resulting in successful market entries.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with DevOps or DevSecOps practices.

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
