TITLE: ENGINEER (M&E)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, procure, and schedule M&E construction projects effectively.
- Manage and oversee M&E projects to ensure completion in accordance with approved schedules and project targets.
- Design and review electrical systems, including electrical distribution, lighting, power, PA systems, solar systems, HT switchboards, and transformers, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit project documentation such as progress claims, material submissions, risk assessments, progress reports, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Proactively identify, forecast, and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
- Supervise site activities and liaise with site supervisors and workers to ensure smooth workflow and quality execution.
- Plan manpower requirements and coordinate work arrangements with the site-in-charge.
- Coordinate with suppliers on the procurement and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for various installation works.
- Assist in the settlement of final project accounts, including variation orders.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of Diploma, (Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent).
- Preferably an engineer specializes in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong expertise in electrical systems, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates initiative, commitment, and responsibility toward assigned tasks.Top of Form
Salary: $3700 to $4000
Location: Tagore Lane
5.5 days work week. 8am to 5pm
