Engineer (Real Time Geotechnical Instrumentation)

Job Description

• Plan, set up, commission, monitor, and maintain real-time geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems.
• Conduct functional testing of instrumentation equipment and data loggers to ensure data quality.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and servicing of materials and equipment.
• Assist the Project Engineer with various project administrative tasks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot defective electro-mechanical devices.
• Document, maintain, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain in-house calibration for all production equipment.
• Liaise with vendors on maintenance and technical matters.
• Handle and support internal and external vendor/customer audits.
• Manage production team members, including technicians, line leaders, and operators.
• Develop, update, and maintain operational and instructional procedures.
• Manage equipment spare-parts inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Report maintenance issues, critical incidents, and supervise contractors or technicians as required.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Electronic) or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good attitude and physical health.
• Possession of a valid driving license is an advantage.
