As a Probe Shift Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will lead a team of shift equipment technicians to meet equipment schedules, production standards, and operational costs, ensuring department goals are achieved. Your responsibilities include setting clear expectations, providing continual performance feedback, and outlining improvement plans for your team. You will foster teamwork, trust, and employee engagement, recognize and reward outstanding performance, and ensure necessary training is conducted and supported to achieve site objectives. Additionally, you will establish clear and strong lines of communication and engagement with peers, customers, eventual reports, and management in a professional manner. You will oversee the day-to-day performance of a work unit that performs complex tasks and collaborate closely with management, engineering, production, and training personnel to meet company goals.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
. Lead and manager shift equipment technicians to achieve operation objectives.
. Ensure adequate training and compliance to SOP to eliminate safety and quality risk.
. Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
. Maintain close communication and collaboration with production and process stakeholders to achieve strategy business objectives.
. Establish and review SOPs to ensure they continue to be relevant and optimized for operation process.
. Evaluation, promotion and planning of new equipment / materials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering or equivalent.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities, with the ability to build and develop an effective team to tackle equipment operation challenges.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, knowledge on problem solving like 8D, 5 Why analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to deliver effective solutions.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and personal initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrated PROBE internship experience within a semiconductor company.
Experience working on projects that align with the key duties of this position.
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
