Engineer

Job Description

- Prepare all technical documents relating to lifting operations
- Plan, coordinate and supervise lifting operations at sites
- Ensure the lifting operation comply with project, safety requirements and other regulations
- Review the Method of statement and Job safety analysis for all site lifting activities
- Perform routine check of the load calculation, safety factor, outrigger ground bearing capacity for heavy lifting operation
- Coordinate with counterpart personnel to develop accuracy of the lifting activities
- Examine required documents necessary to the execution of the lifting operation
- Investigate site condition prior to approve a critical lifting plan
- Provide input to improve and develop standard procedures and working guidelines for safe lifting operation
- Selection of suitable cranes for the hoisting activities for the new / existing job
- Provide Technical support and solutions for hoisting activities for the customer
- Prepare and submit lifting plan for hoisting activities for our mobile crane / Crawler crane / Crawler Tower crane and Lorry crane
- Ensure that a lifting plan is drawn up before any lifting operation started
- Promotes safety practices and ensure compliance with safety regulation at work site
- Conduct site survey or site visit as per customer request for crane access for safe lifting operation
- Prepare general arrangement drawings detailed and basic design and drawings mechanical schematic and layout drawing for LTA & HDB submission
- Attend meeting for the new customer and manage relationship existing customers
- Working closely with sales team member to successfully integrate commercial proposals and supply agreements, containing complex technical, economical information for safe lifting operation
- Handle customer's inquiries and negotiation for the usage of cranes in an effective and efficient manner
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management
