Job Description & Requirements

A Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, overseeing, and managing construction and infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, drainage, and water supply systems. The role involves site supervision, technical documentation, liaising with contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and delivering projects within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.

• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical assessments.

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and project schedules.

• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and standards.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients.

• Perform quality control checks and resolve any technical issues on-site.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and project updates.

• Manage project budgets and resource allocation.

• Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
