Engineer

Plan, coordinate and oversee M&E and ACMV works to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and within the required timeline.

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.

Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments and work procedures for M&E-related works.

Troubleshoot and resolve ACMV, electrical, mechanical and building services issues at site.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and work schedules to achieve project targets.

Review technical drawings, specifications and documents and provide necessary technical recommendations.

Prepare project progress reports, maintenance reports and site documentation.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to the agreed scope, quality and schedule.

Assist in budget planning, cost control and preparation of quotations for M&E works.

Conduct testing, commissioning and handover of ACMV, electrical and other M&E systems.

Ensure proper documentation and maintenance records are maintained for all equipment and systems.

Identify potential operational problems and take preventive and corrective actions to minimise downtime.

Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore workplace safety, building and M&E requirements.

Participate in emergency response and provide technical support during breakdowns and urgent site issues.

Guide and mentor junior engineers, technicians and site personnel where required.

Attend meetings with clients, consultants and contractors and provide technical updates and progress reports.

Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings.

Support Green Mark, sustainability and energy-management initiatives where applicable.

Ensure all tools, equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe and organised condition.

Perform any other M&E engineering, supervisory and coordination duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
