Job Title:
Engineer (Managed Services) - SOC
Pre-requisition:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Computer Engineering
- 2 years of relevant working experience in SOC as a SOC engineer with hands on experience in SIEMS and case management tools administration and management
- Possess analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skill
- Effective time management and organizational skill
- Effective (written, oral, listening) communication skill
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain systems
- Liaise with external vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Configure and fine-tune systems
- Oversee design, implementation and management of new systems
- Conduct training to analysts in the usage and functionality of the systems
Technical Skill sets:
- Hands-on experience in the setup and writing of SIEMS parsers (program)
- Hands-on experience in the provisioning and interpretation of log and network packet data (incl. SNARE, CEF, PCAP and Netflow)
- Possess the foundation in Internet protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocol
- Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Windows administration, virtual machine, storage & backup system, network & security management
- Have experience and knowledge about security threat and attack countermeasure
- Preferably trained at system management level on the SIEMS, Breach Detection System and Network Forensic System
- Familiar with SOC Process SOP
- Preferably with SANS 400 certified
