This role is based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore.
- Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory
- Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable
- Be expected to obtain guidance in non-routine situation testing movement, vibration, real time reading
- Have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities
- Interact with customers on technical issues and questions
- Provide Input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers
- Be confident in making both formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders
- Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory
- Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data
- Utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis
- Be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusion
Requirement:
- Possess a Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Geotechnical Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience
- Working knowledge of site safety
- Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline - Water, ground and environment
- Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element's business
- In-depth understanding of testing concepts
- Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed
- Possess strong computer skills
