Manage, supervise, and coordinate all electrical engineering works throughout the full project lifecycle, from design, planning, execution to completion and handover
Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, detailed working drawings, and as-built drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
Update and maintain as-built drawings using AutoCAD for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, ELV (Extra-Low Voltage), communication systems, and lightning protection systems
Plan, schedule, and monitor sitea ctivities to ensure work progress is carried out in accordance with the approved construction programme and project timeline
Conduct quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and technical evaluation of materials and subcontractor submissions for electrical works
Review electrical designs, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies, design issues, or coordination conflicts, and propose effective solutions
Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery
Attend and participate in site inspections, technical meetings, coordination meetings, and audits conducted by consultants or relevant authorities
Prepare and submit progress claims,variation orders (VO), method statements, risk assessments, work procedures,and other project-related documentation
Assist the Project Manager in overall project coordination, planning, reporting, and resolving technical or site-related issues
Supervise and monitor subcontractors work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements
Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with statutory regulations, local authority requirements, and relevant safety standards
Coordinate with other disciplines(e.g., mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural) to ensure proper integration of electrical systems
Monitor and control material usage,manpower allocation, equipment, and site resources to ensure efficient project execution and cost control
Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications
Support procurement activities,including sourcing, evaluation, and selection of materials and suppliers
Assist in tender preparation,including technical submissions, cost analysis, and documentation
Maintain proper project documentation, including site records, daily reports, inspection records, and handover documentation
Ensure adherence to workplace safety, health, and environmental policies and actively participate in safety inspections and initiative
JobRequirements:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with HDB projects in Singapore is required.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of tendering processes,cost estimation, and analysis for Sanitary/Plumbing/Gas works is an advantage.
Good understanding of Singapore construction codes, HDB standards, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera will be an added advantage.
WSQ Safety or Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certification is preferred.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and manage site challenges.
Willing to attend to urgent site matters outside normal working hours when required.
