understand the overall engineering design scheme for the projects that you handle,
carry out geotechnical analyses/design using software such as Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D and others, as well as, carry out geotechnical design based on analytical and empirical relationships,
plan ground investigations/carry out ground characterisation and arriving at geotechnical design parameters from the results of ground investigations,
put up drawings and reports to communicate the results of your works, as well as to coordinate with clients, contractors and other engineers on your design works (where such opportunities arise).
Requirements:
Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
Prior working experiences in geotechnical engineering projects is preferred.
Familiar with civil/geotechnical engineering designs in local Codes, Regulations and requirements, and Eurocodes.
Well verse in geotechnical design software, e.g. Plaxis, etc.
Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil and geotechnical works.
Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.
Able to manage projects independently and work under tight datelines.
Fresh engineers and geotechnical engineers with working experience are welcome to apply.
