Plan and supervise ground investigations, including performing ground characterizations.
Develop design concepts for geotechnical works.
Conduct analyses and detailed designs for geotechnical structures and solutions.
Perform structural-related designs as required.
Coordinate and liaise with developers, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Manage and oversee geotechnical design projects, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
Work on geotechnical challenges associated with infrastructure works (e.g., underground stations, tunnels, basements, slope stabilizations) and building works (e.g., basements, foundations, ground settlements).
Be involved in the design aspects of these geotechnical works.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
3-5 years of relevant working experience in geotechnical engineering projects (preferred).
Proficiency in geotechnical design software (e.g., PLAXIS) is advantageous.
Familiarity with local codes, regulations, requirements, and Eurocodes.
Knowledge of authority submission processes for civil and geotechnical works (preferred).
Conversant with statutory codes, site supervision practices, quality control procedures, and construction administration (preferred).
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
