We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles and techniques to perform equipment engineering in a manufacturing environment, ensuring proper installations, testing and maintenance of equipment to minimise production delay.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver highly visible customer support through on-site installation, as well as diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing and repairing complex equipment and systems
- Perform equipment upgrades and modifications
- Coordinate and communicate daily task assignments within the team and with customer
- Act as a subject matter expert to address customer complaints, providing timely solutions to resolve issues
- Monitor product performance and provide regular updates and feedback on customer's service requests
- Report recurring customer complaints to management for resolution and future reference
- Other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience including a minimum of 3 years experience with Dry Etch or Wafer Cleaning equipment knowledge
- Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for supporting other's growth and development
- Ability to work in cleanroom environment
- Willingness to work or be on standby after office hours, including weekends and public holidays
