The Role:
- Lead a team of technicians for facilities management related activities in the building.
- Carry out routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, panels, motors, UPS, generators, etc.).
- Monitor electrical system performance and report faults, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Respond to breakdowns and support troubleshooting to restore normal operation quickly.
- Assist in managing contractors and supervising electrical maintenance works.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts usage.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and technical upgrades within the facility.
- Participate in emergency response for electrical-related incidents.
- You will need to work 5.5 days work week on alternate week.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
What Do You Need to Have
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering at least 3 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates MUST be a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) - Grade 7 or valid EMA Electrician License is mandatory.
- You will need to work 5.5 days work week on alternate week.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and use basic electrical measuring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
