The Job
You will support the department in managing resources to support the uninterrupted operations of buildings, plant, equipment and all infrastructural assets and facilities and also ensure the timely replacement of equipment and fixtures to prevent disruptions to users.
Your job role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Reviewing of drawing, contract documents, and liaising with government agencies, consultants, main contractors, and specialist contractors to ensure align of project requirements
- Perform inspections and testing and commissioning of the systems including following up of defects rectifications
- Developing and directing programmes to maintain buildings, systems, and equipment
- Ensuring that preventive maintenance schedules and procedures are in place and operated safely and efficiently
- Prepare and submit workplan budget costing and proposal for infrastructure renewal and improvement works
- Manage work plans, procurement, reviewing performance targets and liaising with project consultants, contractors, and respective government authorities in the implementation of construction projects and facilities improvement works
- Manage a team responsible for facilities service requests, maintenance tracking, and coordinating with stakeholders in performance preventive maintenance and repair breakdowns
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Facilities Management with at least 3 to 6 years experience
- Candidates with at least three (3) years of experience in Electrical Systems or Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) will be preferred
- Experience in maintenance and managing of contractors (in projects and maintenance) desirable with a minimum of three (3) years experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with healthcare staff of all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application
