Engineer, Electrical

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

. Work on electrical/electronic system for product design, design verification and validation activities.

. Participate in solving electronics and software/firmware related problems.

. Generate product documentation such as specifications, risk assessment, test protocols and reports that contribute to the Design History File.

. Involve in design review to ensure the product is designed for testability and manufacturability.

. Develop test fixtures/jigs and test program with R&D and manufacturing teams.

. Provide engineering support for manufacturing and test systems in production.

. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team on design verification, manufacturability, quality and reliability.

. Provide technical ownership for product design aspects for developmental and commercial products throughout their entire lifecycle.

. Resolve technical problems by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

. Propose solutions for technical problems using systematic problem-solving methodologies and engineering principles.

. Follow Design Control for medical devices to ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System and ISO 13485.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

. Min Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.

. Preferably to have minimum of 3 years professional experience working on electrical/electronic product development and related activities.

. Experience in testing electrical and electronic systems, PCBAs and hand-on experience in configuring equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, safety tester, etc.) is mandatory.

. Experience with PCB design software (e.g., PADS, Altium Designer) is mandatory.

. Experience with EMC and safety regulatory certifications is mandatory.

. Experience with IEC60601/IEC61010 is mandatory.

. Experience with electronics hardware design, review, verification and troubleshooting is mandatory.

. Strong understand of product testing, troubleshooting and test fixture development.

SKILLS

. Good knowledge in power, microprocessor, PCBA, high speed signals designs.

. Strong knowledge of technical standards related to video and electrical safety.

. Outstanding communicator with strong troubleshooting skills.

. Excellent documentation writing skills.
