Job Summary
Support civil and building projects by managing technical documentation, material estimation, progress measurement, safety and quality records, manpower registration, and labor relations communication to ensure efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain technical and commercial documents including construction method statements, formwork designs, inspection reports, and material or labor cost records to support project accuracy and compliance
- Estimate material quantities and demand, place orders, and coordinate returns based on construction progress and sequence to optimize resource management
- Record and measure actual work completed periodically to facilitate accurate progress payment claims
- Prepare and file safety and quality management documents such as risk assessment reports, daily toolbox meeting minutes, and accident reports to uphold site safety standards
- Register and deregister manpower records for workers entering or leaving the site to maintain accurate labor tracking
- Assist the Project Manager in communicating with workers to resolve labor relations issues including working hours discrepancies and safety breach penalties, ensuring smooth workforce management
- Demonstrate professional, independent, and efficient work handling to contribute to project success
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, maintaining attention to detail and responsiveness in all interactions
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil and building construction or related management field
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to work in tough outdoor environments such as hot and humid conditions and willingness to work overtime as project demands require
