Engineer (Calibration)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of instruments both in-house and at customer sites.
• Prepare and review calibration reports and related documentation.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of calibration reference standards and equipment.
• Ensure calibration jobs are completed within the scheduled turnaround time (TAT).
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with 5S requirements.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide technical support when required.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Experience in calibrating Dimensional, Mechanical, Temperature, and Electrical Instruments in laboratory and onsite environments.
• Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and Measurement Uncertainty would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving Licence will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Minimum qualification of ITE, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent in Engineering or a related discipline.
