Engineer/Architect (Project Management)
What You Will Be Working On
- Project Management (Construction)
Lead team of consultants and contractor to ensure the successful completion of the project in the following areas:
- To monitor Construction Master Programme and ensure project completion is on schedule
- To monitor interim completion of critical milestones/deliverables and progress.
- To ensure sample units readiness and approval
- To ensure completion of structural, M&E works and architectural finishes of the project
- To monitor lift installation and commissioning
- To ensure services laying and commissioning
- To monitor regulatory clearances and ensure clearances obtained promptly for TOP & CSC application
- To ensure pre-completion checks and preparations are carried out for handover inspection
- To provide construction inputs upstream at planning and design stage to manage construction duration and mitigate construction issues
- Quality Management
- To ensure the project achieves good CONQUAS score
- To perform in-process audits to ensure all works are in accordance to approved method statements
- Ensure material tests are carried out to quality conformance
- Ensure functional tests are carried out to approved standards
- Contract Management
- Monitor and control project expenditure by managing the design changes and ensure variation approvals are obtained timely
- Monitor EOT claims & LD
- Monitor progress payment
- Review of Requests from external parties
- Monitor contract administration requirements based on the PSSCOC
- Safety / Environmental Management
- Review and monitor of contractor's safety & health management system (SHMS) to provide a safe work environment and work towards a zero-accident workplace
- To monitor Earth Control Measures (ECM) system to ensure sites does not pollute waterways and comply with
- PUB's regulations
- Monitor vector control and noise control to comply with NEA regulations
- Monitor site housekeeping for safe work environment
- Carry out site inspections on safety and environmental aspects
- Coordination with other HDB Groups on the following:
- Optional component scheme (OCS) & completion programme
- Precast components & safety/piling/structural audits
- Social and Commercial facilities
- Design issues
- Budget control
- Public communications
6. Public Relations Management - Manage public complaints, feedback and Advisor requests/comments
What We Are Looking For
You should have background in Architecture or Engineering (Civil/ Structural/Mechanical/Electrical), recognised by the professional boards in Singapore, or equivalent qualification. For Civil/ Structural Engineers, Professional Engineer registered under the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore, is preferred. You should have a positive learning attitude, strong technical problem-solving, good writing and communication skills, and willing to engage relevant stakeholders. Candidates with relevant working experience and with the right attitude are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
