Endpoint Security Engineer

Weare looking for a skilled Endpoint Security Engineer to manage, operate,and enhance our endpoint protection capabilities across the enterprise. Thisrole is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, andcontinuous improvement of endpoint security controls, with a strong focus on SymantecEndpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) and Microsoft Defender. The idealcandidate is hands-on, security-focused, and comfortable working closely withIT operations, security teams, and end users to protect endpoints againstevolving threats.

Responsibilities:

Endpoint Protection

. Administer,operate, and maintain Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager or Defender or anyother endpoint security solution.

. Deploy,configure, and manage endpoint protection policies, including anti-malware,IPS, firewall, and device control

. Generate security posture reports regularly toidentify gaps in protection and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the Symantecagent.

. Performupgrades and rollouts during weekend maintenance window

User Support & Operations

. ProvideLevel 2 / Level 3 support for incidents and service requests

. Monitorendpoint security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root causeanalysis

IT Service Management

. UnderstandsITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change Management

. Createand update tickets with detailed documentation and resolution steps

. MaintainSLAs and ensure timely ticket resolution

Documentation & Knowledge Management

. Createand maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and standardoperating procedures (SOPs)

. Maintainrunbooks for common operational tasks

Required skills and qualifications:

. Singaporeansonly

. Adegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security or a relatedfield with at least 2-4 years of work experience

. Atleast 1 year of experience with SEPM / Defender

. Experiencewith Host Intrusion Prevention & Detection (HIPS / HIDS)

. Experiencewith Windows and/or Linux (RedHat) system administration

. Ableto prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic working environment, with strongcommunication and interpersonal skills

Preferred skills and qualifications:

. Knowledgeof Microsoft Defender is a bonus

. Experiencewith scripting programming languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python) for automation
