Responsibilities

• Execute all stages of in vitro fertilization (IVF) processes, such as oocyte retrieval, fertilization, embryo culture, and embryo transfer. Prepare sperm and successfully carry out the cryopreservation of gametes and embryos. Utilize advanced imaging and assessment techniques to monitor and evaluate embryo development. Maintain meticulous records of laboratory procedures and patient information. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, including those established by the Ministry of Health, Singapore. Conduct quality control and assurance processes to ensure excellence in laboratory operations. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients. Engage in continuous research and development efforts aimed at enhancing ART techniques and outcomes. Provide support during peak times, weekend rotations, or urgent cases as per the clinic's operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Life Science, Biomedical Science, Reproductive Medicine, Microbiology, or Clinical Embryology. Certification as an Embryologist from an accredited professional organization. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an embryology lab, having performed over 50 embryology procedures under supervision. Comprehensive knowledge of human reproductive biology and assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures. Skilled in laboratory techniques and equipment specific to embryology. Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
