Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Test Engineer with expertise in embedded software testing, test automation, HVAC systems, and mobile application validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing test strategies, executing manual and automated tests, debugging complex issues, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test specifications based on product requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for embedded software and system-level validation.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects through detailed root cause analysis.
• Work closely with development teams to validate fixes and ensure product quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end validation of embedded systems, mobile applications, and HVAC control functionalities.
• Contribute to continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Embedded Software Testing and System Validation.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as:
• Robot Framework
• Playwright
• Similar test automation tools
• Experience in creating:
• Test Plans
• Test Specifications
• Test Reports
• Automated Test Suites
• Strong debugging, log analysis, and root cause identification skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Version Control Systems (Git/SVN).
• Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android/iOS).
• Strong understanding of HVAC Systems, control logic, and system behavior.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing connected devices, embedded controllers, or IoT-based products.
• Exposure to HVAC automation and climate control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of API and integration testing.

Certifications

• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (Preferred).

Educational Qualification

• BE/BTech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
