Job Summary
Join Akkodis as an Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop secure, connected embedded systems integrating AI-driven automation for mobile payments, digital identity, and IoT devices in a global agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy advanced embedded software components for mobile and IoT devices to deliver secure, connected solutions
- Build next-generation secure systems by implementing software security mechanisms and IoT connectivity protocols
- Leverage AI-driven automation to enhance software validation, testing efficiency, and deployment pipelines
- Contribute to the development and evolution of future operating systems powering connected devices
- Collaborate effectively within a global agile team to deliver high-impact, customer-centric embedded products
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tools, and development methodologies to optimize product quality and delivery
Required competencies and certifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded or validation software development
- Strong proficiency in Java, C/C++, or Python programming, dedicating approximately 30% of time to coding
- Experience with embedded systems debugging and using emulators or simulators
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within agile development environments
