- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C/C++ for ARM-based microcontrollers and processors.
- Develop low-level drivers and peripheral interfaces, including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and GPIO.
- Perform board bring-up, hardware-software integration, firmware validation, debugging, and troubleshooting using tools such as JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing, including automated testing using Python and CI/CD tools where applicable.
- Analyse system requirements and translate them into reliable and maintainable firmware designs, while participating in code reviews and following software quality standards.
- Work closely with hardware, QA, manufacturing, and system engineering teams to resolve product issues and support firmware releases and sustaining engineering activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development, with strong proficiency in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience in embedded systems, ARM-based microcontrollers/processors, RTOS, and firmware debugging.
- Familiarity with Git, Python, and software testing/CI/CD.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, device drivers, or secure firmware will be an added advantage.
