Job Overview:
Agiliad is looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team for a customer
deployment in Singapore. This is a contract opportunity for an initial duration of 1 year, with a
strong possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for various hardware platforms
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement system requirements
- Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using JTAG and other debugging tools
- Ensure high-quality code through testing, validation, and documentation
- Support integration and deployment at the customer site in Singapore
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Embedded Systems Firmware Development
- Strong understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools, especially JTAG
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming
- Good understanding of hardware-software interaction
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in customer-facing or onsite roles
- Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS) is an advantage
- Familiarity with industrial or networking devices
