Electricity Counsel, APAC (contract, 20hrs/week)

Leading tech company is seeking an Attorney with expertise in the Electricity Sector to support their APAC team. The candidate must be available to work Singapore hours.

This is a fully remote, 6 month contract, with potential to extend. This is a 20hr/week contract.

Please note: A writing sample (at least one full page) of previous work that is suitable for a regulatory filing will be requested if selected for interview.

Scope of Work

Duration: 6 Months (with potential to extend)

Pay Rate: SGD 100 - 107/hour($80/hr - $85/hr USD)

Desired Experience & Job Requirements:

• We are looking for 20 hours per week of support from an experienced attorney with electricity sector experience in APAC.
• Experience advising on and negotiating electricity interconnection, datacenter electricity agreements, datacenter landlord negotiations, supply, and related agreements related to large electricity customers.
• Experience with regulatory or policy advocacy on electricity sector topics.
• Coverage is focused on the APAC region but may also include support for other regions.
• Experience with providing legal support in the support areas mentioned above will be critical.
• A current law license in good standing in least one of the following jurisdictions is preferred: Australia, India, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm or in-house team.
