Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

To maintain/upgrade the plantelectrical equipment alongside with team of production colleagues and technicians

. Supports and at times lead electrical maintenance activitiesas assigned by Supervisor/Engineer

. Ensure the team meet established specifications and schedulefor maintenance plan work.

. Ensure safety and housekeeping are always observed

. Support production departments on Continuous Improvement,Preventive Maintenance to ensure high levels of line efficiency and lineperformance

Skill sets/Qualifications Needed

. NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical Engineering orequivalent

. Strong technical knowledge and hands on skills in amanufacturing environment for electrical related equipment

o Good knowledge and hands on skills in using electricalmeasurement tools like multi meter, megger tester, infra-red thermal scanner,etc.

o Able to ready and understand electrical drawings andspecifications.

o Knowledge in motor/ equipment control and wiring is a must.

o Knowledge in PLC (Siemens, Alle Bradley, Omron) is anadvantage.

o Strong troubleshooting skills in automated production line.

o Able to conduct training for operators and technicians.

o Perform maintenance works in an automated prdn lines.

o Control maintenance process and manufacturing issues.

. He must have team spirit and be able to interact effectivelywith others to ensure that all issues are resolved appropriately andefficiently, while complying the company safety and health requirements.

. Licensed Electrical Worker is an advantage

. He/she should be able to work on rotating shifts.

• Must have strong knowledge of PLC Programming
