Electrical Technician

Job Description & Requirements

. Supervision of workers and subcontractors on daily site activities.

. Keep track of the site schedule to ensure works are on time

. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults

. Conduct routine inspection of motors, sensors, PLC and safety devices

. Compliance to safe work procedures and maintain good house-keeping. Ensure safety matters on site and quality of completed works

. Assist Project Manager in material and equipment acquisition

. Supervise site electrical installation

. Maintain service records and maintenance reports

. Coordinate with internal teams

. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational procedures

. Provide technical support when required

. Raise purchase requisition

. Liaise with Project Manager

. Prepare documents for electrical testing

. Rectify and repair electrical issues at site

. Prepare and submit tender quotations

. Confirm progress reports, monitor project activities

. Submit progress claims, monitor project activities

. Project planning, execute resource management and control

. Co-ordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers and Consultants for Building Construction Electrical Works

. Arrange and monitor work progress

. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

. Monitor project costing to ensure project to be completed within budget and on time delivery.
