Electrical Technician

. Maintain and repair factory electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal system performance.

. Lead in the repair or replacement defective or malfunctioning components of equipment

. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.

. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

. Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.

. Document all electrical work performed, including repairs and maintenance activities.

. Analyze process parameters, alarms and information / drawings to diagnose and trouble shoot equipment problems

. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure that plant equipment and auxiliary systems continue to operate smoothly and efficiently

. Assess spare part requirements and raise purchases, record parts and materials used and review tender quotations

. Stay updated with the latest industry standards and advancements in electrical technology.

. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
