Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Electrical Equipment)
- Position Title: Electrical Technician
- Working Location: MacPherson
- Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 6.00pm)
- Salary Package: Basic salary up to $2,650 + OT + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Carry out panel wiring according to drawings and instructions
- Install, connect and label cables, terminals, breakers and other panel components
- Assemble and set up simple mechanical parts related to the system
- Check and test wiring to ensure correct connections and safe operation
- Assist in troubleshooting and rectifying basic wiring faults
- Help with panel installation on-site when required
- Keep records of work done and report issues to the supervisor
- Maintain tools, equipment and work area in clean and safe condition

- NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical or related field, or equivalent
- Experience in panel wiring or basic electrical wiring is an advantage
- Able to work on OT when required
