Job Summary
You will lead and supervise electrical wiring, termination, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning for control panels, instruments, and machines. You will report progress to the production manager and ensure adherence to electrical safety standards while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret schematic diagrams to guide electrical installation and maintenance activities
- Report project progress and issues clearly and promptly to the production manager
- Perform and supervise electrical wiring, termination, and installation according to technical drawings for control panels, instruments, and machinery
- Troubleshoot, test, and commission electrical components to ensure operational reliability and safety
- Operate forklifts safely, applying 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to support site logistics and material handling
- Lead and coordinate a team of workers to achieve project milestones and maintain productivity
- Enforce safe working practices and ensure all electricians comply with electrical safety regulations on site
- Work independently and proactively to manage tasks effectively within a fast-paced work environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in electrical work within shipyard, oil and gas, or petrochemical industries
