Supervise/ perform fault diagnosis, trouble shooting, maintenance, servicing and installation of electrical system/ component in workshops and onboard vessels.
Lead, directs and supervise a team of engineers in preparation of commissioning of ship board Machinery System/ Electrical & Automation System and Equipment, ensuring the completion on schedule in accordance to the protocols.
Manage resources planning and provide technical advice.
Liaise with various departments within the company and client to expedite the scope of work.
Coordinate with vendors and partners, conduct design reviews with customers, and maintain documentation according to our ISO quality systems.
Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of electrical connections and programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Programs.
Conduct risk assessment of electrical work on-site.
Prepare work completion repots for Customer's Acceptance.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work productivity.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Relevant Technical Qualification in electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years relevant experience in Marine related or oil & Gas industry.
Experienced dealing with 440v Main Switchboard, Distribution Boards, Transformer, PowerGenerator, Main Engine, Converter, Inverter Batteries, Fire Alarm & Flooding System and ShipControl Monitoring & Management System.
