Electrical QA Technician (Switchboard)

Key Responsibilities

In-Process Inspection

• Conduct inspections during switchboard assembly to ensure components are installed correctly, wiring is completed accurately, and work complies with approved electrical drawings and schematics.

Final Inspection & Testing (FAT)

• Carry out thorough visual inspections and functional testing of completed switchboards, including checks on breakers, indicator lights, and meters.
• Perform electrical tests such as High-Pot, Megger, PI, SI, and Injection Testing to confirm product safety, quality, and operational readiness.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare, maintain, and update inspection reports, test records, quality documentation, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Sales teams to identify and resolve quality issues while supporting project schedules and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of QA/QC experience, within an electrical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD drawings.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
