Job Summary
The Electrical Site Engineer will support electrical works in Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, and Oil & Gas plants, applying technical knowledge and leading teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Apply basic knowledge of Electrical Building Services design to support project requirements
- Perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system compliance and safety
- Execute earthing and lightning protection works to maintain plant safety standards
- Lead and coordinate a team of supervisors and electricians to achieve project milestones under guidance
- Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders to align electrical works with overall project goals
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports and claims to track project progress and resource utilization
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools proficiently to document and communicate project information
- Demonstrate strong writing, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to support project coordination and problem-solving
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree, Diploma, or ITE Certification in Electrical Engineering
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with local codes and standards such as SS 568 and SS 560
- Self-motivated and technically competent to work independently and with teams
