Electrical Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, including at least 1 year of experience in data center projects. The successful candidate will manage and supervise the installation of electrical systems in data centers, ensuring all work meets project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee and coordinate the installation of electrical systems in data centers, ensuring compliance with project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Technical Supervision: Supervise subcontractors during the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS, and generators.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical installations meet quality and safety standards, as well as project-specific requirements.
• Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during installation, troubleshooting electrical systems as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Testing and Commissioning: Support the testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including technical reports, installation documentation, and as-built drawings.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards, as well as the company's internal safety policies.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• At least 1 year of direct experience working on data center/oil&gas projects
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS, and generators.
• Project Skills: Proven experience in managing subcontractors and project timelines, with a focus on quality and safety.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
