Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end execution of data centre projects, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality, safety, and Singapore electrical regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with local and global cross-functional teams to support the implementation of electrical systems and multidisciplinary system integration.
  • Assist in project cost control, risk identification, and risk assessment, while providing recommendations to improve project performance and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders through proactive communication and coordination.
  • Review electrical drawings and technical documentation for major electrical equipment, including diesel generators, UPS systems, MV/LV switchgear, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other electrical infrastructure. Coordinate technical clarifications with equipment vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor on-site electrical installation activities, resolve basic technical issues during construction, and prepare progress reports, variation documentation, testing & commissioning records, and project handover documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement of project execution processes to enhance operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, and optimize project costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of project experience in critical infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, or data centre electrical projects.
  • Experience coordinating with equipment vendors, subcontractors, and site construction teams throughout project execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese to effectively liaise with internal teams, clients, and regional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support site execution decisions and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with basic project management tools for schedule tracking, reporting, and documentation.
