Electrical Manager/ Senior Manager

MANAGER/ SENIOR MANAGER - Electrical and Motion Control (Hardware/Technical/ Engineering/ Automation/ Control/Mechatronics/R&D)

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. They are currently seeking for a Manager/ Senior Manager - Electrical Hardware and Motion Control to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to determine all electrical and hardware requirements on product design to improve the performance of semiconductor machines

• Lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems and precision motion control subsystems used in semiconductor machines

• Approve schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical BOMs.

• Drive design reviews and technical governance.

• Oversee development of high-precision multi-axis motion systems.

• Manage integration of Linear and rotary servo motors, Direct-drive systems, encoders, EtherCAT/CAN-based motion networks

• Support servo tuning, stability analysis, and vibration mitigation.

• Work closely with controls software teams and mechanical design teams

Requirements:

• Degree/ Masters in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or relevant qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant working experience in the industrial automation industry. Candidates with more years of experience can be considered for Senior Manager position.

• 1-2 years in leadership role managing a team

• Experienced in motion control modeling and algorithm for ultra-high speed and high accuracy applications

• Strong in digital and power electronics design

• Understanding of standard analytical tools (e.g. Matlab, MathCAD, IDL)

• Control system analysis and design, familiar with Matlab tool for system analysis and simulation.

• Digital electronics design, power electronics design, like power supply and motor driver design, familiar with commercial design tools.

• Knowledge in analysis of Dynamic frequency response using Bode plot and Nyquist plot.

• Familiar with Electromagnetic technology for motor design.

• C/ C++ programming for real-time control applications.
