Being able to perform testing of different electrical installations and equipment and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
Assist Engineers in installation, repair and preventative maintenance of all electrical equipment and power, lighting systems and circuitry in the plant.
Able to follow the work order and monitor monthly maintenance for existing equipment.
Carry out the trouble shooting and other additional work requested by the supervisor as and when necessary.
Requirements:
Nitec(NTC,ITE) or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering related discipline
Have at least 1-year electrical experience in the manufacturing environment
Knowledge of chemicals process in relation to production machinery and equipment will be an added advantage
Able to read and understand department procedure and work instruction
Able to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
This position is for shift work from 8:00am to 17:00pm or vice versa.
