We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Manager to lead and manage electrical and instrumentation projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordination, execution, and delivery, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with Singapore standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end E&I projects including design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Plan project schedules, manpower allocation, materials, and cost control
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g. EMA, MOM, SS, IEC)
- Oversee site activities, progress tracking, and quality assurance
- Manage variation orders, claims, and project documentation
- Conduct site meetings, progress reporting, and risk assessments
- Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements
- Resolve technical and site issues efficiently to minimize delays
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Singapore in electrical and instrumentation projects
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience managing E&I works in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Familiar with Singapore regulations, codes of practice, and authority submissions
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in project documentation and reporting
- Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Electrician (LEW) certification
- Experience with control systems, instrumentation, and automation projects
- Strong knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures
