Job Summary

You will lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of analytical systems and instrumentation, driving project success through effective coordination and technical expertise. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards while delivering timely engineering support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation, commissioning, and initial calibration of analytical systems including O2, Ammonia, pH, TOC, TRC, Conductivity analyzers, and instruments such as PIT, TIT, FIT to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to execute projects smoothly and meet deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Perform electrical and pressure tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to validate system performance and compliance.
  • Conduct site commissioning for instrumentation and control systems, analytical systems, and related project tasks to achieve operational targets.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on analytical systems to sustain optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation including installation reports, testing, and commissioning records to support quality assurance.
  • Ensure all installations and commissioning activities comply with customer specifications and industry standards to guarantee quality delivery.
  • Provide ad-hoc engineering support to customers, addressing technical inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience of 3 to 5 years or more in analytical instruments or related fields.
  • Proficiency in using Hart communicator, calibration tools, and PLC/SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of analyzers and instrumentation technologies.
  • Ability to write clear and effective service reports independently.
  • Strong planning and time management skills to optimize job efficiency.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and with stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to work, capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
