Assist Sales Engineers in following-up for orders.
Develop & implement use of computer for costing, estimation & quotations. Set-up and improve on standardised costing method.
Check & compare costing / estimation against actual costs for awarded job. Budget planning & control for jobs.
Responsible for correct / accuracy of acceptable level in costing.
Sourcing of components / parts with assistance from Purchasing Department. for better alternatives, improvements, cost effective, etc. when required.
Assist in co-ordination work (internal or external).
Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors
Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.
Requirements :-
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1 - 3 years experiences in project cost estimating in electrical engineering industry. Switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) cost estimating experience is an advantage.
