Electrical Estimator

• Costing & estimation of Marine switchboards, etc.
• Assist in preparation of quotations, technical data, compiling brochures, catalogues & technical details, layout dimensional drawings, etc... required for submission to clients.
• Handle in-door sales enquiries / telephone sales enquiries.
• Assist Sales Engineers in following-up for orders.
• Develop & implement use of computer for costing, estimation & quotations. Set-up and improve on standardised costing method.
• Check & compare costing / estimation against actual costs for awarded job. Budget planning & control for jobs.
• Responsible for correct / accuracy of acceptable level in costing.
• Sourcing of components / parts with assistance from Purchasing Department. for better alternatives, improvements, cost effective, etc. when required.
• Assist in co-ordination work (internal or external).
• Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors
• Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.

Requirements :-

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1 - 3 years experiences in project cost estimating in electrical engineering industry. Switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) cost estimating experience is an advantage.
