ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineering Technician will support the installation, testing, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems for construction and building projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and related electrical services

• Carry out electrical works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements

• Support site inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements

• Assist in testing and commissioning activities and rectification of electrical defects

• Prepare and maintain basic technical records, inspection checklists, and site progress reports

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site personnel on daily work activities

• Ensure all works comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures

• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing corrective actions

• Support the project team in meeting quality, safety, and schedule objectives
