We are seeking a Electrical Engineer (Senior) with strong experience in power generation, or oil & gas facilities to support electrical maintenance, reliability, operation and project activities. This role is responsible for maintaining the technical integrity, reliability, and safety of electrical systems, with a strong focus on power generation and high-voltage electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities, particularly in Gas Engine Generator (GEG) systems
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for electrical equipment and systems
- Drive reliability programs to ensure consistent execution of maintenance and minimize equipment downtime
- Plan and execute minor electrical CAPEX projects in line with engineering standards
- Investigate equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical support to operations and project teams, including expansion projects
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on electrical matters
- Work closely with Licensed Electrical Workers to ensure compliance and safety
- Participate in emergency response and assigned operational roles
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or power generation facilities
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical power systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
